If you would like to begin work quickly, you may choose to go to a nursing trade school as programs can usually be completed in 1-2 years. These programs are designed for certified nurse assisting and licensed practical nursing. And usually nursing trade schools are more affordable than private schools and 4-year universities.
Aside from an associateâs degree, there are also bachelor’s degree programs that usually take four years and are designed for registered nurses. However, this type of degree is not usually offered in nursing trade schools.
It is important that when you are examining nursing trade schools make sure to check if the school is state-approved and accredited. It is also important to look for schools that can prepare you for relevant licensing exams when you graduate.
